Well, the deadline has passed without a rescue bid. An announcement on Monday morning by the administrators will probably mark the end of Gretna Football Club.
What's your thoughts on this debacle? Did Mileson buy success and bail out when the going got tough? Did he run out of money or had his health dictated matters? Who would you like to see replace them in the SFL?
It also looks like Airdrie and Stranraer will get promoted. Them's the breaks and we have to try and avoid the 'what if's' _________________ Vote for the Forum of the Month at the Family Guy Forum

Its a real damm shame I was really impressed with Gretna's fast rise to the spl. It just seems unreal after 3 promtions they go bankrupt.

Their successor will be announced at the beginning of July. It's never good when a club goes out of business. Hopefully lessons will be learned by other clubs by Gretna's rapid demise! _________________ Vote for the Forum of the Month at the Family Guy Forum

yes they have a kind of website,and www.calcioscozzese.it (the italian website dedicated to scottish football in wich i write) had just conctact it....we'll must wait because the situation is not clear(there was a kind of meeting in these days and another it 'll be in the first days of july)
